About Jessica - AKA Queen of the B Moms

Queen of the B Moms

For most of her adult life, Jessica Pollack has written educational and fact based material. These include TV and radio news, training manuals for broadcast industry, mortgage companies, and insurance sales, educational material for K12 and Continuing Ed students, and PR for sports teams, actors, and local businesses.

While living in Sydney, Australia, she wrote her first fiction piece. Award winning musician, Theresa Chen was the music teacher at the American International School. She was teaching the students how words can create emotions in songs. Together, Theresa and Jessica wrote a stage musical “Un-Fairytale” performed by the combined fourth and fifth grade class.

Since then, she has written more children’s pieces and now some female-led, action/romance stories like “Queen of the B Moms” which she is turning into a book series.

We hope you enjoy Queen of the B Moms!

Queen of the B Moms Book

Ella is a happily single, suburban, working mom struggling to get by. She’s what might jokingly be called a “B” mom.

Everyone knows the “A” Moms from their kids’ school.  You know, the perfect cookie baking, best fundraising, perfect clothes wearing, perfect husband having women who run everything in town without raising a sweat?  You may have to search harder to remember the “B” Moms, those faithful souls who do everything in the background making the “A” Moms look good.

“B” Moms are happy they remembered to bake the cookies before falling exhausted into bed. They are lucky if their shoes match each other no less match their not totally pressed outfit. They are the ones who wave “Thank You” from the back room where they are still slaving away while the “A” Mom accepts another award.

Our Queen of the B Moms, Ella, does everything in her power to keep her family afloat.  She tries a bunch of home businesses to supplement her income and to make up for the 17 months of unpaid child support when she answers an Internet ad for a work-at-home mom.  She gets the job, and before she knows it, she is whisked off to Switzerland by her new boss, a man who is the Fairytale Prince she has always dreamed of.

This is no simple romantic getaway.  With her “B” Mom ingenuity and ability to blend in, she has exactly the skills needed to save the world banking system from collapse at the hands of a financial terrorist.
